Mira Road MLA Geeta Jain’s Daughter, Sneha Saklecha (31), Victim of Cyber Fraud in a Sweet Purchase Gone Wrong
Sneha Saklecha, a director of the family-run Sonam Group of Companies, faced a setback as she lost over Rs 79,000 in a cyber fraud incident while attempting an online payment of Rs 480 for sweets. The incident unfolded on November 9 at around 5 pm when Saklecha was at her Jain Bungalow.
In a prompt response, Saklecha filed a complaint with the Navghar police in Bhayander (east) on Friday. The details of the fraudulent transaction, involving a mobile payment application, are currently under investigation by authorities. Saklecha’s involvement in the family’s construction firm adds complexity to the situation, raising concerns about the security of online transactions for business professionals.
