In a statement Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut emphasized the long-standing tradition and legacy of the annual Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park in Mumbai, spanning over five decades. Raut asserted that only a member of the Thackeray family provides the vision and roadmap for Maharashtra and the nation from this revered venue.
Raut went on to suggest that Uddhav Thackeray’s forthcoming speech at the Dussehra rally would mark the “beginning of a change” in the state and potentially on a national scale in 2024.
Furthermore, Raut characterizes the Dussehra rally organized by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde as “duplicate” and contends that it is only appreciated by individuals within the BJP who share the same sentiment. This commentary underlines the political dynamics and rivalries within the region.
